Boston Esplanade Engagement Photos

We remember shooting Lauren and Derek’s wedding back in 2015, when Katelyn said to us that when she gets married we would be her wedding photographers. At that time the WHEN didn’t have a date, but we could totally tell that Henry was getting quite anxious to ask her. We were so excited when we got an email that Henry popped the big question and now that WHEN is 2017!

We are so excited for these two! You could say, that we go way back, first meeting Katelyn at her sister’s wedding in 2013, and since then we have seen each other at a quiet a few weddings that we’ve photographed. Meeting them for an engagement session felt more like hanging out with old friends. Usually engagement sessions are for breaking that ice, but here the ice has been melted and long gone for some time now. In anticipation of getting in front of the camera, Katelyn and Henry arrived a little bit nervous, but with some direction and guidance they quickly realized that they were models deep down. They quickly took to posing techniques with ease! We strolled through the Esplanade and enjoyed the beautiful summer day talking about everything from wedding plans to Pokemon-Go. We can’t wait to reunite with this family in Jimmy’s hometown (Dracut) for this amazing wedding!
