Did you realize that everything comes with directions? And when we can’t figure something out, the first question is: “Didn’t it come with directions?”

Well, even Jim came with directions! And not just a step by step process, it was a full book “How to live with Jim for dummies”.

Jim’s brother Ken presented the book during his toast, and the surprise, joy and excitement immediately filled the room. This toast will go down in history as an unforgettable moment, and Pam and Jim are starting their own book… together.

P.S. Alright it wasn’t a full book, but he did create the cover and put it over a school yearbook.

Hotel Indigo Bridal Show and our Booth

It was nothing like our regular morning. Questions like who we will meet, how will our booth look, will anything go wrong… kept racing through our heads. We packed the truck with our booth, canvases, promo material, tables, chairs, lights and hit the road.

This past Sunday, we were a part of the Bridal Show at the Hotel Indigo in Newton, MA. Where do we even to begin to describe how exciting, awesome, fun, thrilling, amazing… it was.

From the bottom of our heart- thank you, brides, for stopping by our booth. Thank you vendors for your support. Thank you Hotel Indigo for hosting! Thank you Boston Bridal Affair for organizing the event! Thank you!

The 7 day forecast is never right! Nor is the 5 the day forecast! The weather seems to work in favor of people in love.

The whole week, we anticipated rain, but had that slight hope that it may clear up by Saturday’s engagement session. And it did! It was an absolutely beautiful Saturday afternoon, and when we met these two, we could totally see why the forecast was on their side! Totally head over heals over each other, she laughs- he smiles, he holds her tight in his arms and she keeps falling in love, over and over again!

The wall of stairs, and magical sunset

Just now, after almost 5 months, of living in our place we are beginning to explore. Explore parks that we can go to, walks that we can go on, restaurants that we should try… the list goes on. One of our favorite spots so far, is Thomas Park. As you get close to it, you might feel like the girl from “In her shoes”, when she started to walk dogs, and every day she would come to this wall of stairs. Stairs that make you sigh, and always remind you how out of shape you are. But anyways… at Tomas Park, after you overcome all those stairs, the reward is amazing. While you just might be still out of breath, and just as you catch it, you turn around the view takes your breath away again. Day or night, panoramic Boston is amazing, but during sunset it is magical.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Did we mention that we live in Southie??? Yes, right in the middle of it all.

Making the decision of living in South Boston, shopping around for condos, moving in… not once did we think about St. Patrick’s Day in Southie. Well, little did we know, this will be the craziest weekend ever (so far, who knows what else is to come). Not crazy in a bad way, but all of the sudden everyone woke up, and there was life. And who knows, maybe it was because it was the warmest day in a while, or because of St. Patrick’s Day, but either way it was a fun filled weekend. On Sunday, the parade went right by our street, and we joined in on the festivities.
