A Trip to the Zoo

Everyone has a list, a list of places they would like to go and things they would like to see. Some things you may never get to see in your lifetime, but things like the Zoo are very much doable.

We were very excited to go to the Zoo. We couldn’t remember the last time we went, and we thought it would be a cute date. I have to admit that this Zoo trip was very much different than any others that I remember. It was always about figuring out what animal it was and whether it was cool looking or not, but now… it was more than that… Can you imagine being stuck in the cage all the time? Can you imaging being behind the glass, and watch people walk by and stare at you? It didn’t seem like the animals were very happy, they seemed lost. The were sad, depressed… While I am sure they are well taken care off, I would love to see them free in their own natural environment. So, the next date… safari??? Maybe…
