Omni Parker House Wedding | Lauren & Brendan
Weddings are full of traditions, superstitions and modern takes. 10-15 years ago most people didn’t know what a “first looks” was, and now most couple not only know what they are, but they also choose it as part of their wedding day. We love how the wedding industry has evolves, but also love that certain things have stayed constant.
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. This tradition has still held its course, and something old has taken on a whole new meaning. Its not about just having it, but what it means. Our bride Lauren didn’t limit herself to just having one “old” but instead she choose the things that meant the most to her, the things that belonged to the people that were closest to her heart. Lauren opted to pin her maternal grandmothers wedding band and diamond ring to her sash, and to wear her paternal grandmother’s rings on the right hand. She was truly surrounded by all the people she loved.
As the wedding days went on, it was clear how close these families were and how much they love each other. Lauren & Brendan, thank you for letting us be a part of your day and making us feel so welcome! Clare, Lauren’s mom, thank you for the continued support and encouragement that you show us on social media, it means the world to us!
