Third Annual Mother’s Day visit to the Wicked Tulips Farm
We live in a digital world, where we one quick google search for Organic Soap will results in MANY ads for different soaps on social media. And the world where we have to question if Siri is listening to us, as it seems as soon as you say something out loud, you immediately start getting the ads pushed on you for that exact thing!
I believe it was exactly this way that we learned about this amazing tulip farm, and in that moment we were beyond grateful for this “we are listening to your conversations” world. Tulips have always been my favorite! They’re that sign of spring, the turn of warmer weather, the reminder to put away those big winter jacket, and the sign that summer and those beach days are coming.
Wicked Tulip Farms have been the way we’ve celebrated Mother’s Day for a few years now. Weather dependent, the celebration happens either a week before or a week after Mother’s Day. Which is totally okay because it’s totally worth it! Seemingly every year we go, our family gets bigger and bigger, and we love strolling through the rows of this gorgeous flower field, admiring how different they all are, and keep getting surprised over how wild and unique some tulips are. Our kids love picking, and curating their own bouquets. This is one of those traditions, that we hope never fades and our kids will continue to enjoy it with the same smile of amazement year after year.
