“The fun” of our trip :(

As we sit there and talk about our trip, and all the excitement, there has to be a kicker. And, Oh, we have one 🙂 At the time it wasn’t that much fun but now that we look back at it, it did make the trip a little bit more … colorful.

As we got in the car to drive to Gomel, we were so excited to see my (Anya’s) Dad, Grandma, and friends, but little did we know that our drive might take a “little” longer. About 1.5 hours into the trip we stopped for fuel and we got stuck in reverse. And yes, we mean in reverse, the car didn’t want to go forward. Of course the thought of going backwards did cross our mind, we thought that it would be best to try and fix it, since we had another 3 hours to go.

So, thanks to my handy man, some tools, and some kind people that we met along the way, we made it there, but this is what it looked like 🙂
