Liz & Dan | Married
Smooth wedding planning is every brides dream, but for Liz it wasn’t always smooth. Starting with the minister for the wedding, that had to cancel, to be replaced by another minister… who also canceled. In the end it worked out as they did have a beautiful ceremony officiated by a deacon.
The big bump in the road came to be when the “straight pride parade” got scheduled for the day of the wedding, which closed the road right by the hotel where Liz and Dan were getting ready in the morning- Omni Parker House. There was so much unknown for traffic, logistics and for transportation. We ourselves had many conversations with the venue to figure out our best game plan. The parade started at 12 and we had to be there at 1, and the road getting closed at 11.
But we won’t bore you with all the details, in the end Jimmy and I arrived right before 11, everyone was on time, the parade went through ahead of schedule, roads opened up, and on the wedding day it was all smooth sailing. Everything went without a hitch and Liz & Dan had a perfect day for “I Do’s”.
