Margaret & Michael | Engaged

There’s a little bit of planning that happens for an engagement session. Of course picking the date is a big one, and location is important. But the most overlooked part, is picking your outfits! Our couples think about that big question of “WHAT TO WEAR?” for weeks leading up to the shoot. And Margaret and Michael had an interesting approach. Margaret said: “I will be wearing white on our wedding day, so I was thinking Michael could wear white for an engagement session”. And we loved that!

Now, as you can see they didn’t go with that plan, but it was just too good not to share. This “do something different” approach applies to location. We often say: “If you’re getting married in the city, for your engagement session pick a park or a beach. And if your wedding is on a golf course, go with a city scape for your e-session”. This way, you get variety and the best of BOTH worlds!
