Snow Day Fun

We’ve been waiting so patiently for this day! And waking up yesterday morning things didn’t look too promising. The cold temps plus the sleet and freezing rain… really didn’t make it seem that inviting. But somehow the sleet situation stopped for a little, and we decided it was time to play in the snow! We certainly couldn’t pass up the first snow day of the year.

Yes, it still took us FOREVER to get everyone ready… please, if anyone has any suggestions on how to get a family of 5 ready in less than 30 minutes, please do tell! The snow wasn’t really all that great for snowmen, but we made it work. Snow angels, some snowballs, a little snow snack and a mini snowman. We love winter… except for Oliver. This guy only lasted a few seconds and he was ready to go inside. Poor guy needs a jacket…

We will call this our practice snow day, and now that thats behind us, we are ready for more. Bring it on, New England!
