“Have you worked at our venue before?” Many blogs and articles will suggest to you that it’s crucial that your photographer has some sort of familiarity with your location. This isn’t necessarily the case for us. While we love having an idea about the space, we embrace diving into new environments. There’s something about arriving at a new venue and exploring all the possibilities. While scouting new venues is fun, time isn’t always on our side. But when we can, we always love walking through with our brides and grooms, because it give us insight to their vision for the day.

Amanda and Andrew’s summer wedding was at the lovely Glen Magna Farms located just 20 miles north of Boston, in the Danver-Salem area. This was our first time shooting at this particular venue, so it was great to have a walk through together. We roamed the grounds, discussed the timeline and reviewed the family photo list. By the end we didn’t want to leave.

Glen Magna Farms is said to be the ideal wedding location because of the award-winning landscape that includes a formal garden, perennials, pergola, shrubbery, and anamazing arboretum. The 19th-century mansion provided endless opportunities for fantastic images and a great romantic setting for love birds like Amanda & Andrew to celebrate and dance the night away!
